H's Beer Gift Suggestions

If your anything like me with Valentine's Day less than a week away, you probally haven't gotten anything for your significant other. As this is a beer blog, here are gift ideas for the beer lover in your life. Unfortunately for me, my girlfriend doesn't drink beer so I will have to keep thinking about what I can get her.

Beer of the Month Club - It's a bit pricey at $36.95/month but who doesn't love getting microbrews in the mail. This is a great opportunity to try beers you might never have heard of.

Mr. Beer Home Brewing Kit - If you ever wanted to brew your own beer but never knew how or where to start, this kit gives you the perfect opportunity to learn. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. I do ask that you let me know how your beer turns out.

Beer Magazine or Books - Not everyone likes reading, but a magazine or book about beer may be worth considering as you can gain valuable knowledge about the world of beer other than reading my blog. A subscription to Draft Magazine makes a nice gift.

Mug Club - Depending on the brewery the benefits may vary, but if your beer lover has a favorite brewery a mug club membership should be a must. As a member of the Iron Hill Brewery, some member perks include: invitations to members only events, drinking out of a Iron Hill mug at a discounted rate, and getting points for purchases made that will provide gift cards when a set amount is reached.

Kegerator - I do want to warn to warn you in advance that a kegerator will be costly, however what beer lover wouldn't want fresh draft beer any time at home.

Iphone Bottle Opener Case - Perhaps one of the greatest inventions made in the modern era. With this Iphone case you will be able to crack open a fresh cold beer, and not have to rely on lighters, bottle openers, teeth, or other people. Can you say "there's an App for that?"

Mix and Match 6 or 12 Pack - When all else fails go to your local beer store and see if they do a mix and match pack. This is a great way to try beers you might normally not buy, and it shouldn't be too costly.
